This is an actual case
- A young preacher enjoys staying up on culture and likes looking at magazines that focus on sports, fashion, travel, food, technology and fitness. After a while, the models in the advertisements catch his eye and he begins taking a longer look at their body. This interest grows into an addiction to pornographic books which he privately repents from periodically. This addiction develops into direct contact via visits to strip clubs and paid private encounters with prostitutes. As the preacher gains prominence, he stands righteously against all types of abuses in ministry from adultery, domestic violence, rivalry, occult, etc. However, when he is personally caught with a prostitute, he refuses to submit himself to his denomination for disciplinary guidelines and is now independent.
Answer the following question:
How could the shield of faith be used in this situation?
