God is a spirit, and the Bible is the record of His interaction with humanity.  The Bible is the body of truths, real things, events and facts. 

What is warfare – a conflict between opposing forces.  

What is spiritual warfare – Conflict that doesn’t originate with physical realm.  It may play out in the physical, but it originates in the spirit and involves the activity of spiritual beings.

Your assignments before week two are:

• Familiarize yourself with the gospel armor as found in Ephesians 6:11-18 and the protection each piece provides.
• Find at least five Scriptures you can quote during a demonic attack or when you feel evil forces trying to manipulate you or others. If you don’t know these Scriptures by memory begin the process of learning them.  Write them down and quote them daily, use them in your prayers for yourself and others. 
• Read This Present Darkness chapters 1 – 3.
• Read The Holy Spirit and You chapters 1 – 3
